**Volunteer Opportunities in Türkiye 🇹🇷**
We are excited to welcome volunteers to assist us in various areas of our projects.
**Project Overview:**\
We have three different projects in Türkiye:
1. Restoration of three old stone houses.
2. Repair and maintenance of a green house featuring medicinal aromatic plants, using only natural materials.
3. Construction of a birdwatching house made of natural materials, perched on a tree.
4. Upcycling workshops for children in the surrounding villages, aimed at providing education on art, technology, design, and nature.
**Education is a Priority:**\
Our mission is to provide education and knowledge to the children in the region. We offer a program that is open to both educators and students interested in our projects. The project duration is from August 20, 2022, to April 1, 2025.
**Volunteer Requests:**\
We are looking for volunteers who can help us with various tasks such as gardening, stone wall construction, woodwork (cutting and assembly), social media copywriting (English), and adding their artistic talents to our projects. We are also open to new ideas and suggestions.
**Location and Facilities:**\
Our location is in Antalya, which is a popular tourist destination in the southernmost part of Turkey. Our project site is situated in a 6-decare walnut garden near the Manavgat Köprülü Canyon (Rafting Centre), approximately 100 km or 1 hour away from the city center. We aim to establish a sustainable ecological farm in this area. On the premises, we have a common kitchen, WC, and showers. Volunteers are required to bring their tents, as we provide a covered area for winter accommodation. The daily working time is flexible, with a total of 5 hours of work per day and 2 days off per week. Volunteers will receive accommodation, three meals a day, and a weekly excursion to explore the natural beauty and museums in the region.

**Current Projects:**\
Here is a list of ongoing tasks and projects:
1. Kitchen and rooms:
* Completion of woodwork for both interiors and exteriors.
* Interior plastering.
* Exterior paint application for protection against bacteria, water, and sun damage.
* Welding and additional woodwork for the balcony.
* Epoxy application on the balcony floor to protect against rain.
2. Workshop:
* Completion of woodwork.
* Varnishing.
3. Bungalow:
* Completion of woodwork.
* Painting and varnishing.
4. Solar Energy Setup:
* Welding and installation of solar panels.
* Adjustable direction for maximum efficiency.
5. Wood Cutting:
* Use of a guillotine for wood cutting.
6. Fruit Forest:
* Collection and storage of wood.
* Construction of an ecological cattle house using sustainable materials.
* Owen (oven) construction for bread baking and hot water supply.
* Creation of a winter garden for vegetation.
* Construction of a hammam and bakery stone house using ecological materials such as mud, branches, and bales with alçi.
* Creation of a walking path using tires, which also serve to secure the soil against erosion.
* Building a micro-hydro energy generator.
* Setting up climbing paths on rocks.
* Creation of sitting areas in caves, along with security fences for the canyon and tunnels.
* Fish cage construction for aquaculture and fish production.
* Development of a solar energy-powered carriage system for sand and stone collection, as well as for building homes and retaining walls.
* Construction of gabion walls and workshop areas.
* Development of clever, off-grid tiny houses with an environmentally friendly sewage system.
